    Ingredients

    • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

      2 tbsp butter

      3 cloves garlic, minced

      1 cup heavy cream

½ cup chicken or vegetable broth

      ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

      1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

      ½ tsp paprika

¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

      2 cups cooked white rice

      1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

    Directions

    1. Season the shrimp with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.

    2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.

    3. In the same skillet, sauté the garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.

    4. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer.

    5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly.

    6. Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss until coated in the creamy Cajun sauce.

    7. Place the cooked rice in a serving bowl and spoon the creamy shrimp and sauce over the top.

    8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
